Eyelash Extensions

When it comes to getting a little extra flutter, false eyelashes and mascara are no longer the only options. The new wave of enhancements is all about Eyelash Extensions.

What Are Eyelash Extensions?

Individual synthetic lashes are carefully bonded to your existing lashes. You can either get a full set, taking about an hour and a half to apply - a false lash is applied to each of your existing lashes. Alternatively you can get a half-set for a more natural look.

When you arrive at my place, I will talk to you about what you want - how long the lashes should be and how thick. During application the eyes will be protected and closed. You shouldn't feel any pain or discomfort.

How Long Do Eyelash Extensions Last?

Around 4 to 5 weeks if you look after them. The extensions will drop off as your eyelashes naturally shed, so you'll lose about 12-15 lashes every two to three weeks.

Maintenance

For the first 24 hours after getting lash extensions, the adhesive is still setting - so don't touch them or get them wet. After that you shouldn't need mascara, but if you do use any products on or near your lashes, they must be oil-free.

Hair extensions have become one of the most popular hair styling options in the world.

On the surface, hair extensions options seem quite simple. Natural hair can be extended in length or extended in volume. Sometimes hair is extended in length and thickness at the same time.

I offer a consultation for those clients who are not familiar with the extension methods and I am able to do consultations via email. Your consultation covers all of the steps you will need to ensure that you properly care for your hair extensions.

Please note that high end hair extensions cost a lot of money to have installed. It is wise to do your research for pricing so that you can get an idea of what the market rates are in your area.

These extensions last 3-4 months and look very natural.

Underarm Wax 

Some people are nervous about getting this area waxed, but let me assure you that once you try it you will be hooked. It is not particularly painful, and gives a completely smooth underarm for weeks. For people with dark hair and light skin, it is the only way to get a truly smooth underarm.

Full Arms

Sometimes the hair all over the arms, from the shoulder to the wrist, is darker or heavier than desired. Waxing is an easy solution and appropriate for both women and men.

Leg Waxing

A half-leg wax is when hair is removed only from the lower half of the legs, or from the top of the knees down to the feet. This is the lower priced option. A full leg wax is when the hair is removed from the bikini line down to the feet. It does not include a bikini wax, however. If you do not have much hair on your upper thighs, I usually recommend saving the money and doing a half leg instead of a full.

Bikini Waxing

You keep your underwear on during a bikini wax, and I will pull up the sides so I can remove any hair outside of the elastic line. I may also clean up the top line if needed. For some women, there is hair on the inside of their legs and on their upper thighs that also needs to be removed. The pricing of a bikini wax depends on the extent of hair removal that is needed.

Brazilian Waxing

You take your underwear off during a Brazilian wax, because the defining feature of a Brazilian is that hair along the labia and between the cheeks is removed. In a full Brazilian, all the hair is removed. In a modified Brazilian, some hair remains on the abdomen. In either case, most people do it because it makes them feel very clean.
